Track anyone anywhere with SPI GPS Trackers.

Whether you are looking for quick answers or a long term solution SPI provides GPS Trackers for any situation.

Although all GPS units are powered by the same satellites not all GPS Tracking systems are created equal. If you are interested in GPS Tracking call SPI Omaha Detective Agency and a Private Investigator will help you select the GPS device that is suited best for your situation.

No Insta-Trak or Trim-Trak here, we use the same units the FBI and many other law enforcement agencies use on a daily basis. SPI Omaha has invested in one of only four GPS servers in the United States that operate GPS units on GSM networks all over the world. There are many inferior mapping programs advertised online and none compare to the SPI Tracking solution. If you or someone you know has rented or purchased a GPS unit please contact us for a free comparison of quality GPS devices versus not so quality GPS devices.

What is GPS and How does it Work?
Global positioning technology, or GPS, is one of those inventions that forever alters the way we live and do business. Many people are familiar with small GPS devices that are used in cars and on personal watercraft, but few people know just how important GPS technology has become to individuals that are faced with a possible life changing situation or a business on the verge of collapse because of employee fraud.

Even if you're relatively unfamiliar with the technology behind GPS tracking, you probably know that satellites are the backbone of the system. In fact, every GPS device (both public and government-owned) operates off of the same 24 satellites orbiting the Earth. These satellites were put up by the U.S. Department of Defense, and were opened up to access for public and private use by the U.S. government.

GPS devices determine their position by receiving radio signals broadcast from the GPS satellites orbiting above. Using three-dimensional trilateration the device figures out its distance from three or four different satellites in the network, and then calculates its own position using this information.

If you are interested in the possibilities that GPS tracking can offer you or your business, SPI Omaha is here to help. From renting GPS Units for personal use to providing tracking solutions for fleets of vehicles, our goal is to tailor ways to make this amazing technology work for you.
